PRR Receives Mayor's Small Business Award

Mayor's Small Business AwardSEATTLE, WA (September 12, 2007) — PRR was recognized as a recipient of the Mayor's Small Business Award at Town Hall on Monday night. PRR is one of ten small businesses in the Seattle area, honored by Mayor Greg Nickels for their excellence in management, entrepreneurial spirit and community involvement.

PRR is a full-service communications firm, offering services ranging from social marketing and media relations, to graphic design and community building. With an emphasis on environmental and social causes, the company holds contracts with clients including U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and King County.

The winners of the Mayor's Small Business Awards are selected by seven judges, and represent a diverse cross-section of Seattle's small businesses. To qualify, businesses must have no more than 100 employees and gross revenues less than $10 million.

The Mayor's Small Business Awards program has been in existence for 23 years, and marks an important landmark for PRR.
