PRR Announces Promotion of Five Key Staff
SEATTLE, WA (January 22, 2008) — PRR, a Seattle-based public affairs and communications firm, today announced the promotion of five of its key staff members.
"We are very proud of our staff and are delighted to be able to recognize them for their hard work and for the dedication they show to our clients," said PRR CEO Rita Brogan. She added that these moves reflect the staff's accomplishments and also PRR's commitment to clients in the environmental, transportation and community building fields.
The promotions include:
Jamie Strausz-Clark has been promoted to Senior Associate II. At PRR, she is a project manager for the Washington State Department of Transportation's (WSDOT) I-405 Congestion Relief and Bus Rapid Transit projects. Her work includes overseeing communications and public outreach for I-405's transportation demand management program; leading I-405's environmental justice outreach; and providing strategic communications to project managers. She holds a Master of Public Policy from Duke University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of California, San Diego, and is a member of the Association for Commuter Transportation and active in the Puget Sound Chapter of the Women's Transportation Seminar.
Kirsten Hauge has been named a Senior Associate, providing public involvement services for clients such as the Washington State Department of Transportation, Washington State Ferries, King County and City of Shoreline. She holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in psychology and communications from Pacific Lutheran University.
Amy Danberg has been promoted to an Associate II. At PRR, she serves as the public information officer for the WSDOT I-90 Snoqualmie East project, overseeing media relations and supporting government affairs and community outreach. As part of an innovative approach to managing a large public works project, she is co-located with the project directors in Yakima to ensure strong professional relationships and open communication between the public, engineering consultants, and WSDOT. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and a Certificate in public relations from the University of Washington.
Lauren Brisbo has been promoted to Account Executive for media relations. Her clients at PRR include U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), WSDOT and Seattle Public Utilities. She is a graduate of the University of Washington, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication studies.
Joe Martin has been promoted to marketing Account Executive. He currently provides communication and media relations support on a variety of marketing projects for clients such as U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, King County and the Washington State Coalition for the Homeless. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business marketing, with a minor in music, from Seattle Pacific University.
