PRR Awarded Two MEAs

For the third week in a row, we’re sharing award news! You can read our other posts here and here. We were recently awarded two Summit Marketing Effectiveness Awards (MEAs) for innovative and leading-edge creative work that used strategy and results-based effectiveness to create solutions in today’s marketplace.

 

PRR won silver with the following clients and campaigns:

Vision Zero: Seattle Department of Transportation

Government Marketing Campaign

PRR developed a campaign designed to create widespread awareness of road safety, garner local media attention, secure partnerships and engage with the community through public events. The launch event garnered almost 1 million impressions and $60k in media values from 37 broadcast stories and 27 print stories. PRR secured two partnerships with Lyft and Uber and conducted 7 PR events/campaigns garnering 200+ hits valued at nearly $600,000. In addition, the video and paid advertising efforts garnered nearly 300,000 views and 700,000+ impressions.

Catch Every Kid: Group Health Foundation

Public Service/Advocacy Campaign

PRR developed a campaign designed to inform people about the importance of childhood vaccinations, raise awareness of Catch Every Kid, and raise money for the Foundation. Through local broadcast, print and digital media PRR secured 59 placements with an estimated audience of nearly 12 million. The video PSA garnered 25,645 views with 55,784 impressions, and 19,000+ people who shared it. The Foundation’s website saw a 647% increase in web traffic at the launch and more than one month later was still seeing a 188% compared to pre-launch traffic. Every parent of an 11 year old in the state received a direct mail and more than three times the donation goal was raised.

 

Judges evaluated entries based on the strength of a creative approach relative to audience and product/service/idea; strategies used to overcome barriers; the ability to move the audience closer to action through the use of creative execution and strategic planning; and the ability to influence influence, change or reinforce the knowledge, attitudes or beliefs of the audience.

We love it when our work and that of our clients are recognized, but it always serves to remind us why we do what we do. We work on projects that matter, that impact the communities we live in. And we couldn’t do it without our awesome clients.
